Complaints procedure
First, talk it through
Are you unhappy about a consultation, an explanation or the way you were helped? Tell Frank. It can often be resolved in a conversation, in person or in writing, via info@mediozorg.nl or +31 6 49 12 49 98.
Making a complaint
To make a formal complaint, send an email or letter to Medio Zorg B.V. with your name, your contact details, what your complaint is about and what you would like to happen. Please do not use the contact form on this website for this.
Timeframe
No later than six weeks after your complaint is received, you get a written decision. It states what was done with your complaint and what measures Medio Zorg is taking. If more time is needed, the period can be extended once by up to four weeks. You will be told before the six weeks are up.
Help from a complaints officer
If you want help writing down or submitting your complaint, you can turn to an independent complaints officer free of charge. They can also help if you and Frank cannot resolve it together.
Disputes body
If your complaint has not been resolved to your satisfaction, you can take it to the recognised disputes body that Medio Zorg is affiliated with. Its decision is binding.
Where Medio Zorg is affiliated
The name and contact details of the complaints officer and the disputes body Medio Zorg is affiliated with will be listed here once the affiliation is complete. Until then, you can send a complaint to info@mediozorg.nl.
Disciplinary law and the Inspectorate
Frank is a BIG-registered doctor and falls under medical disciplinary law. A disciplinary complaint is filed with the Regional Disciplinary Board for Healthcare. You can also report concerns about the quality of care to the Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (IGJ).
